Innovation from the ground up

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Trevor Zucker, 1st Combat Communications Squadron radio frequency transmissions technician, innovated a replacement part for the quad-band large aperture antenna system by 3D printing a nylon mounting bracket, preventing the satellite communications system from becoming non-mission capable due to the challenges of obtaining replacement brackets.
