    USAF delivers medical supplies to Ghana

    The 86th Airlift Wing delivered medical supplies to the government of Ghana April 24, 2020, to help support the country’s COVID-19 response efforts. Approximately 4,000 pounds of medical cargo and supplies provided by the Naval Medical Research Unit Three-Ghana Detachment were stuck in Manchester, U.K., due to logistical disruptions caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

    Professional Airlift: A Team Sport

    Just before 1 a.m. (7 p.m. EDT) on Saturday, Oct. 13, a Ramstein-assigned C-37 delivered Andrew Brunson to his first stop on a return trip to the United States. Brunson, a U.S. pastor who lived and ministered in Turkey, had been held by the Turkish judiciary for two years following the attempted coup in 2016.
