United States Air Forces in Europe Band strengthens partnership between U.S. and Serbia through music

RAMSTEIN AB, Germany -- At the request of the U.S. Embassy-Belgrade, the United States Air Forces in Europe Band will perform a concert in Presevo, Serbia, July 28, 2018. The band is performing in Serbia to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Serbian Flag being flown over the White House.

President Woodrow Wilson had the Serbian flag raised over the White House and all public buildings in the nation’s capital in honor of Serbia’s bravery in defending their territory against Austro-Hungaria and Bulgaria in 1918.

A performance such as this celebrates the U.S. and Serbia’s partnership and provides an opportunity to strengthen relationships with our European partner through the universal power of music.
