F-16s Arrive in Estonia

  • Published
Ten F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the Colorado Air National
Guard arrived in Estonia today.

The F-16s are deployed from the 140th Wing and will take part in various
exercises in Europe as part of the U.S. Air forces in Europe's forward
operating missions.

Saber Strike 18 is one of the exercises the F-16 will support. Saber Strike
18 highlights the inherent flexibility of air forces to rapidly respond to
crises, allowing for the right presence where we need it, when we need it.
The three week deployment of this F-16 unit is an example of the firm U.S.
commitment to security in the Baltics.
