F-16s arrive in Poland for Aviation Rotation 18.3

Approximately 300 Airmen and 18 F-16s assigned to the 52nd Fighter Wing, Spandahlem Air Base, Germany, are participating in bilateral training with the Polish Air Force during Aviation Rotation 18.3, and off-station training/flying training deployment, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve at Krzesiny Poland, from approximately June 1-20, 2018.

During the rotation the U.S Air Force and Polish air forces will conduct training focused on maintaining joint readiness while building interoperability capabilities. They will also support the BALTOPS and Saber Strike exercises which are designed to promote interoperability with allies and regional partners and improve our joint, combined operational capability in a variety of missions. Through strengthened relationships and engagements with our allies, the United States and NATO demonstrate their shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe.
