The deployment of strategic bombers to the U.K. helps exercise RAF Fairford and U.S. Air forces in Europe’s forward operating location for bombers.

The B-52 is scheduled to conduct theater integration, flying training, and joint and allied training to improve bomber interoperability. Allied training will also include participation in exercise SERPENTEX, a French Air Command-led exercise that will focus on training aircrew and JTACs in their Air Land integration mission.
