Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa and NATO Allied Air Command Gen. James B. Hecker met today with Minister President of the State of Rheinland-Pfalz, Alexander Schweitzer at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Hecker and Schweitzer spoke about the role of the host community in Rheinland-Pfalz and how to continue and deepen the partnership between the military and community. In addition to his meeting with Hecker, Schweitzer also received mission briefs from both USAFE-AFAFRICA and AIRCOM to hear more about the vital missions of both units in maintaining and strengthening international partnerships to promote global security.(Courtesy photo)
