U.S. Air Force Gen. Frank Gorenc, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa commander, left, renders honors during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Suresnes American Cemetery, May 29, 2016. During the event guest speakers honored fallen servicemembers and acknowledged the enduring relationship the two countries forged during the American Revolutionary War. The cemetery is the final resting place for 1,565 Americans who fought and died in France during WWI and WWII.
