Suresnes American Cemetery

U.S. and French officials held a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Suresnes American Cemetery, May 29, 2016, honoring fallen servicemembers and acknowledging the enduring relationship the two countries forged during the American Revolutionary War. The cemetery is the final resting place for 1,565 Americans who fought and died in France during WWI and WWII. More than 200 civilians, military members and official delegates from Poland, Vietnam, Japan, Germany, France and the United States attended the event. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Master Sgt.
