CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti -- The 406th AEW commander, Col. Gabriel Brown, recently touched down in Djibouti to get an up-close look at the incredible work our Airmen are doing to project power, sustain the fight, and defend the base at Chabelley Airfield and Camp Lemonnier.
Beyond seeing exactly how these teams drive objectives forward, the most important part of the trip was connecting with the force. Col. Brown took time to hear directly from our Airmen about their on-the-ground concerns and had the honor of coining a few outstanding “Bosses” for their dedication to the mission.
