  • 501st CSW conducts first Mass-COVID-19 vaccination line

    The 501st Combat Support Wing conducted a mass-COVID-19 vaccination line at RAF Alconbury, Engalnd, Mar. 18, 2021. This is the first time the 501st CSW has conducted a mass-vaccination line and are expected to vaccinate approximately 300 people. Multiple Airmen and civilians from the 423rd Medical, Civil Engineering, Inspector General and Communication squadrons assisted in helping vaccines be distributed to the pathfinder community.
  • Agencies integrate to fulfill European mission

    There are many factors that go into how the Airmen of Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, receive their food, household goods and supplies. Before the product is delivered to the customer, many moving parts and multiple agencies must work together seamlessly. When it comes to receiving food and cargo, the 728th Air Mobility Squadron, 39th Medical Group public health office and the 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron customs liaison office must come together and collaborate to ensure the products are delivered in a safe and timely manner for public consumption. The process starts with the 728th receiving and offloading an aircraft full of resources.
  • Top it off: US, Hellenic air forces practice in-flight refueling

    A KC-135 Stratotanker, from the Arizona Air National Guard’s 161st Air Refueling Wing, joined F-16 Fighting Falcons from Aviano Air Base, Italy, and the Hellenic air force to perform in-flight refueling operations during a flying training deployment, Jan. 20 to Feb. 3, 2017, at Souda Bay, Greece.
