  • Texas Air National Guardsmen train at RAF Mildenhall

    Members of the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard, conducted annual vehicle maintenance training with the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron at RAF Mildenhall July 20 – Aug. 2, 2019. Five guardsmen from different units across Dallas/Fort Worth came to RAF Mildenhall to train on special purpose equipment and upgrade their skill level throughout all of the 100 LRS vehicle maintenance shops.
  • 2019 BTF comes to an end

    More than 450 personnel and six B-52 Stratofortresses from Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, returned home following a short-term deployment to RAF Fairford, England, in support of U.S. Strategic Command’s Bomber Task Force in Europe, April 11, 2019. The BTF deployment enabled theater integration and training with joint partners, allied nations and other U.S. Air Force units, to further enhance bomber interoperability in the theater.

    Air Force One, carrying President Donald J. Trump and a contingency of White House officials and media members, arrived at RAF Mildenhall for refueling and logistical support Feb. 26, 2019. Air Force One, along with a C-32, known as “Air Force Two” and an E-4B National Airborne Operations Center landed en route to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, for the president’s second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
