    Ample Strike 2018 concludes

    The Czech Republic led Exercise Ample Strike 2018 concluded this week. Ample Strike is a multi-national, live exercise conducted in various training areas across the southern region of the Czech Republic. The exercise offers advanced air/land integration training to joint terminal attack controllers (JTACs) and close air support (CAS) aircrews.

Pilots accomplish a pre-flight inspection of each aircraft they will fly to ensure it is ready and safe for flight. Ample Strike is a Czech Republic led, multi-national live exercise that offers advanced air/land integration training to Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) and Close Air Support (CAS) aircrews. The forward presence of the 162nd Wing, Arizona Air National Guard aircraft and Airmen in Europe allows the United States to work closely with our allies and partners to develop and improve interoperobility and maintain regional security.     F-16 aircraft assigned to the 195th Fighter Squadron, 162nd Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, and supporting Airmen, are participating in Exercise Ample Strike 2018, at Namest Air Base, Czech Republic.
