Ramstein Air Base, Germany -- Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa Gen. James B. Hecker spoke today with Zambia Air Chief, Lt. Gen. Oscar Nyoni to discuss the progress of Association of African Air Forces events.
Lt. Gen. Nyoni also serves as the AAAF chairman this year.
The generals discussed the results of the AAAF Working Group, held in Zambia in September, and evaluated efforts in preparation for the Zambia Air Force hosted African Air Chiefs Symposium scheduled for February 2025.
The two leaders pledged to remain in close contact.
