RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- In remembrance of the 79th Anniversary of Operation Overlord, the 86th Airlift Wing will be conducting D-Day commemoration flights with multiple C-130J Super Hercules from June 1-6, 2023.
U.S. Air Forces in Europe will conduct media flights at Cherbourg-Maupertus airport, Normandy, Thursday, June 1 to Saturday, 3 June 2023. Interested media members will have the opportunity to fly onboard a C-130J Super Hercules during D-Day commemoration events.

This is a first come, first serve opportunity as space on the C-130J is limited. The U.S. Air Force will not provide transportation to or from the Cherbourg-Maupertus Airport.
