RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- C-130 Hercules aircraft and Airmen from the 123d Airlift Wing, Kentucky Air National Guard, are at Pisa Air Base, Italy, to participate in the Italian bi-lateral exercise Mangusta 19.
Airmen will provide airlift for U.S. and Italian air drop operations, promoting interoperability and assuring allies of U.S. commitment to NATO collective defense.
Participation in Mangusta 19 strengthens the strategic partnership we have with our NATO ally, Italy.
