Bomber Task Force returns from flights near Baltic Sea region

Four U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress aircraft from the 2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, operating out of RAF Fairford, U.K., recently returned from flights near the Baltic Sea region focused on integration and interoperability training with European allies to maintain a high state of readiness and proficiency.

The flight included training with NATO allies Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

Airmen from the 2nd Bomb Wing are deployed to RAF Fairford to conduct training in a joint environment with partners and allies during this Bomber Task Force rotation. 

This deployment enhances global stability and security while enabling units to become familiar with the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa area of responsibility. To preserve operational security, we will not confirm or discuss details of future operations.
