Spangdahlem F-16 aircraft and Airmen arrive in Portugal for Flying Training Deployment

Airmen and aircraft assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, are participating in a flying training deployment at Monte Real, Portugal, to evaluate aircraft and personnel capabilities, and to conduct training with the Portuguese air force.

During this training, F-16C Fighting Falcons from the 480th FS will participate, improve readiness, and build interoperability with our NATO ally. Through strengthened relationships and engagements, the U.S. and NATO demonstrate shared commitment to a peaceful, stable, and secure Europe.
