A-10s Arrive in Europe

Eight A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft assigned to the 127th Wing, Michigan Air National Guard, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., arrived at RAF Mildenhall, U.K. today.

The A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft are deployed to support the U.S. Army Europe-led exercise, Saber Strike 2018.

Saber Strike 18 promotes regional stability and security, while strengthening partner capabilities. Training with joint partners, allied nations and other U.S. Air Force units contributes to ready and postured forces and enables Airmen to continue building strategic relationships necessary to confront a broad range of global challenges.
