USAFE Band to perform in Ukraine

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany --  At the invitation of the U.S. Embassy-Kyiv and orchestras in Kyiv and Odesa, 14 Airmen form the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Bands’ Jazz band will travel to Ukraine March 24 to April 2, 2017. While in Ukraine, the band will perform at “Philharmonic Hall’ in Odesa and “Officers House’ in Kyiv.

They will also perform at other local events in surrounding communities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Ukraine. Performance like these further increase cultural ties and enhance the people-to-people relationship between the U.S. and Ukraine.

The USAFE Band represents a unique international musical heritage, building and preserving partnerships through official multi-national military and international community outreach events across Europe.
