C-130s arrive in Greece

Airmen and C-130J Super Hercules aircraft assigned to the 37th Airlift Squadron, 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, will participate in a bilateral training event with the Hellenic Armed Forces during Stolen Cerberus VIII, a bilateral training mission at Elefsis AB, Greece, from May 8 - 22, 2021. Airmen assigned to the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing, Ramstein AB, Germany, and Airmen assigned to the 57th Rescue Squadron, Aviano AB, Italy, will also participate.

The training will include Agile Combat Employment events and feature Cross-Functional Airlift Support Personnel, a program created to enable ACE operations using multi-functional Airmen capable of filling many roles traditionally filled by individual Airmen with a specific Air Force Specialty Code.

Stolen Cerberus is designed to enhance interoperability and airlift capabilities among allied armed forces through realistic, joint air operation scenarios. It also enhances readiness and demonstrates our shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe.
