USAFE-AFAFRICA change of command scheduled for May 1

Gen. Jeffrey L. Harrigian will assume command of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa from Gen. Tod D. Wolters during a ceremony here May 1 at 2 p.m.
Harrigian will also serve as the Commander of Allied Air Command and the Director of the Joint Air Power Competence Centre.
In addition to commanding a fighter squadron, and fighter wing, Harrigian has served as the commander of U.S. Central Command, Combined Force Air Component Commander, Director of the F-35 Integration Office, and in other staff positions at the Joint Warfare Center, 9th Air Expeditionary Task Force, and Headquarters U.S. Air Force. He is currently the Deputy Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces in Africa.
