RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (Jan. 11, 2018)
-- A fourth B-52 Stratofortress aircraft supporting a strategic bomber deployment in Europe landed at RAF Fairford, England, Jan. 11, 2018.
The aircraft’s arrival marks a total of four strategic bombers from the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, conducting theater integration and training in the United Kingdom.
The deployment of strategic bombers to the U. K. helps exercise United States Air Forces in Europe’s forward operating location for bombers.
All four bombers will participate in training with joint partners, allied nations and other U.S. Air Force units in order to contribute to ready and postured forces.
