Approximately 200 Airmen and seven F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy, are participating in Blue Flag 17, a biennial exercise hosted by Israel from Nov. 5-16, 2017. The U.S. Air Force, Israeli Air Force and seven partner nations are participating in the third iteration of Blue Flag this year.
