Ramstein visit builds U.S.-Libyan integrated air mobility ties

A Libyan security leader sits on the ramp of a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules during a flight from Ramstein Air Base, Germany as part of a U.S.-Libyan Air Forces engagement, Aug. 6, 2026. The flight demonstrated the aircraft’s tactical airlift capabilities allowing security leaders from eastern and western Libya to see the mission in action and better understand how the 86th Airlift Wing ensures mission-ready support for rapid global mobility in support of ongoing unification and Integrated Air Command development.
