Ramstein visit builds U.S.-Libyan integrated air mobility ties
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Paige Smith, Operational Support Squadron chief controller, details airfield operations with security leaders of the eastern and western Libyan during a tour of the air traffic control tower at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 4, 2026. Participants exchanged perspectives on aviation coordination, operational procedures and the systems that enable air mobility missions in support of ongoing unification and Integrated Air Command development.
