U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs Arrive in Finland for Ramstein Flag 2026
U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing, RAF Lakenheath, England, sit parked on the flightline after arriving at Pirkkala, Finland, ahead of Ramstein Flag 2026. RAFL26 is a large-scale, multi-domain NATO Allied Air Command exercise featuring more than 200 aircraft from 18 nations, designed to enhance interoperability and provide challenging combat scenarios in a complex operational environment.
