USAFE-AFAFRICA, Algeria Conduct Aeromedical Exchange

Algerian aeromedical personnel observe a U.S. Air Force 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron technician and flight nurse simulate patient care during an Algerian aeromedical evacuation familiarization visit at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, July 17, 2025. The familiarization visit, led by the U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa Command Surgeon’s Office of Global Health Engagements and the 86 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, provided an opportunity to exchange aeromedical training and best practices, serving as a foundation for future military healthcare cooperation.
