USAFE-AFAFRICA hosts Veterans of Foreign Wars visit
U.S. Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Otis C. Jones hosted Veterans of Foreign War Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief Carol Whitmore on Jan. 16 for an immersion with major command staff and Airmen across Ramstein Air Base. During the visit, Commander Whitmore focused on understanding the needs and concerns of servicemembers in the KMC, to include quality of life, local healthcare and challenges of serving overseas. The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veteran service organization established in 1899. It is comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.
