U.S., Norway conduct first F-35 cross-service maintenance

Airmen with the Royal Norwegian Air Force refuel a U.S. F-35 Lightning II at Ørland Air Station in Norway, April 8, 2024. The mission marked the first time that Airmen from one nation’s military provided servicing to another nation’s F-35 aircraft without supervision. The cross servicing of aircraft between NATO partners highlights the future interoperability with fellow F-35 users across the European Theater. (RNoAF photo by Ole Andreas Vekve)
