7th Reconnaissance Squadron supports NATO's eastern flank operations
Airmen from the 7th Reconnaissance Squadron maintenance flight, watch as a U.S. Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk Block 40 taxis off the runway March 18, 2023, at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. The airmen of the 7th RS maintain, launch and recover RQ-4 aircraft at NAS Sigonella, while RQ-4 pilots and sensor operators stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, fly and provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to allied and NATO partners around the world.
