Kenya Defense Forces honored by U.S. AFRICOM
U.S. Army Major General Gregory Anderson, U.S. Africa Command Director of Operations, awarded the U.S. Joint Service Commendation Medal for valor to Kenyan Defense Forces (KDF) Colonel Daniel Rotich, Major Martin Muthaura, and Corporal Peter Shikuri, for their exemplary courage and selflessness during the Jan. 5, 2020, Manda Bay attack, Manda Bay, Kenya, March 16, 2022.
