409th AEG train Nigerien Armed Forces
                Three Nigerien Armed Forces (French language: Forces Armées Nigeriennes) members, practice combat lifesaving skills taught to them by the 409th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron air advisors and 724th Expeditionary Air Base Squadron firefighters at Nigerien Air Base 201, Agadez, Niger, Jan. 21, 2022. The 409th ESFS hosted an eight-week course to train the FAN on various tactics such as combat lifesaving skills, weapon maneuvers, vehicle searches and patrol movements to enhance their ability to counter escalating violent extremism in the tri-border region of Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali.
