U.S., Nigerien service members fix village waterline
Airman 1st Class Deon Cadogan, 724th Expeditionary Air Base Squadron civil engineering flight, digs up the high-pressure waterline to expose the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe in the village of Alwat, Agadez, Niger, Jan. 22, 2022. A joint effort between members from the 404th Civil Affairs Battalion team, 724th EABS civil engineering flight, and the Nigerien Armed Forces (French language: Forces Armées Nigeriennes) action civil military (ACM) team repaired two leaks in the PVC pipe to provide clean water to over 800 people.
