Ramstein receives initial COVID-19 vaccine shipment
U.S. Air Force Maj. Christopher Robosky, 86th Medical Group medical logistics flight commander, opens a box containing COVID-19 vaccinations at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 30, 2020. Vaccine distribution begins in a phased approach Jan 4, 2021, starting with a select group of first responders and medical personnel. Airmen eligible to receive the vaccine are highly encouraged to do so to protect their health and help lower the public health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
