48th EMS conduct aircraft crash and recovery lift training
Airmen assigned to the 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron repair and reclamation sections tighten a bolt to a wire cable sling during a simulated crash and recovery aircraft lift at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Dec. 29, 2020. This was the first crane lift at RAFL in 10 years and provided the recertification for the CDDAR program to six team chiefs and eight CDDAR members to ensure the wing is ready at a moment’s notice.
