Preserving the power: Airmen maintain generators in Niger
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Christopher Khamphady, 724th Expeditionary Air Base Squadron electrical power production technician, replaces a fuel filter during a 400-hour preventative maintenance inspection for a basic expeditionary airfield resources power unit at Nigerien Air Base 201, Niger, Feb. 11, 2020. During this type of inspection, the 724th EABS Airmen perform an oil change and replace all of the fuel, oil and coolant filters to ensure the generator is running optimally.
