Reservists simulate mass casualities during Immediate Response

Airmen assigned to the 301st Medical Squadron, 301st Medical Group, Carswell Field, Naval Air Station, Fort Worth, Texas, help transport a simulated patient to an emergency room unit with Slovenian Armed Forces in Maribor, Slovenia, during Immediate Response 2019, May 15, 2019. The emergency room was set up by Airmen and became mission capable within 12 hours. A fully mission capable facility includes an emergency room, operating room, and morgue and allows U.S. Airmen to demonstrate their capabilities to our coalition partners. Participation in multinational exercises like Immediate Response enhances professional relationships and improves overall coordination with allies and partners during a crisis.
