Resiliency: personified
Retired Staff Sgt. Jason Morgan gives his service dog the command to lie down while sharing his story with audience members for a resiliency event on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 3, 2019. Morgan became paralyzed from the waist down after the vehicle he rode in careened off a cliff. Despite numerous setbacks, including a leg amputation, he competed and medaled in the U.S. Warrior Games and finished the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, D.C.
