Phantom lift
An Airman assigned to the 39th Maintenance Squadron ties a chain around a jersey barrier for support prior to lifting an F-4 Phantom II during an exercise March 8, 2019, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The exercise tested their ability to lift a damaged aircraft which helped maintain the mission by increasing operational effectiveness, as well as improving on the processes to minimize further damage to downed aircraft.
