Deployed bomber stops at Morón Air Base
A B-52 Stratofortress stops at Morón Air Base, Spain, Jan. 17, 2018. A total of four strategic bombers have deployed to Europe to conduct theater integration and training. The four B-52s and approximately 300 Airmen from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., have been conducting operations out of RAF Fairford, England since Jan. 9, 2018.
Through U.S. and Spanish cooperation, Morón Air Base has a long history of supporting bomber operations and serving the strategic deterrence requirements of U.S. and NATO allies for decades. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Natalie Plas)
