Shining light on a sensitive topic: chapel hosts candlelight vigil for interpersonal violence victims
A woman lights her candle in honor of a victim of interpersonal violence during a candlelight vigil at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 27, 2016. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, over the course of a year, more than 10 million U.S. citizens are victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, child violence and bullying or suicide. The devastating physical, emotional, and psychological consequences of interpersonal violence can cross generations and last lifetimes. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Lane T. Plummer)
