56th RQS paints rescue wall, preserves legacy
A newly-painted rescue wall was created at the 56th Rescue Squadron operations building at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, March, 16, 2016. The wall documents the squadron’s achievements since 1971, and was painted to resemble the squadron’s previous wall in Iceland. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nigel Sandridge)
