B-52 participates in CDR16
A Royal Norwegian Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon and several naval vessels can be seen off the wing of a U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress as it flies over a fjord in the Trøndelag region of Norway during NATO exercise Cold Response 16, March 1, 2016. More than 16,000 troops from a dozen Allied and partner nations participated in this year’s iteration of the biennial military training exercise, jointly developing tactics, techniques and procedures that greatly increase their interoperability and coordination. Exercises like these sharpen NATO members’ ability to defend themselves and their allies in any environment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Joseph Raatz)
