435th AGOW deploys team, expands OIR mission
Airman 1st Class Christopher McDade, 435th Contingency Response Squadron air transportation specialist, moves equipment Sept. 14, 2015, at Diyarbakir Air Base, Turkey. The 435th CRG is made up of a variety of 29 Air Force Specialty Codes and serves as U.S. Air Forces Europe and Air Forces in Africa's only expeditionary open-the-base force. The group has deployed approximately 80 Airmen to set up initial life support and operation facilities for the bed-down of personnel recovery forces standing up in Turkey.
