Darryl Roberson, 3rd Air Force and 17th Expeditionary Air Force commander, put on safety equipment before he participates in a simulated rescue mission at a 1st CMXS communication tower during an immersion tour on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 30, 2014. During his tour, Roberson learned about the day-to-day tasks of Airmen assigned to multiple units within the wing.
