APF Mauritania final training day
Mauritanian Air Force Capt. Ahmed Taleb Ahaimed, Mauritanian Air Force school commander, briefs Martha Patterson, Charge d’Affaires, U.S. Embassy in Mauritania; Col. Mohammad Lehreitani, Mauritania Air Force chief in command; and other senior Mauritanian Air Force commanders and senior-ranking students about the capstone Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance exercise Sept. 3, 2014, at Atar Airbase. The exercise is the final learning event that will highlight what the students of African Partnership Flight Mauritania have learned during their week-long training. APF is a training environment where students learn new techniques to help each of the participating nations fight counterterrorism, build stronger partnerships, increase aviation capacity, and enhance security in the region.
