Bulls
Spectators gather in various parts of Pamplona before and after the run dressed in white attire with red belts and scarves. Glorified through Ernest Hemingway’s 1926 classic “The Sun also Rises,” the Running of the Bulls dates back as far as the 13th century and presently involves more than just professional bullfighters. Every year, tourists from around the world gather in this rural city to run a half-mile route from the bull corrals to the bullfighting arena. (Courtesy photo)
