U.S. Air Force Gen. U.S. Air Force Gen. Frank Gorenc, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa commander, meets U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Terry Ferrell, commanding general of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, as he gets off a plane at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Aug. 22, 2013. This was Gorenc ‘s first trip to Africa since taking command of USAFE/AFAFRICA and he used the trip to familiarize himself with CJTF-HOA’s mission of stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
