100th CES maps future of RAF Mildenhall
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Abigail Cheek, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering apprentice from Fairfax, Va., uses a global positioning system rover Sept. 27, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The 100th CES Engineer Assistants shop uses 32 satellites in orbit to give the user +/- 2 centimeter precision measurements anywhere on Earth. This is in comparison to a regular hand held GPS devise from a sporting goods store which has a precision of +/- 3 meters. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
